Lavash Wrapped Tilapia
This Lavash Wrapped Tilapia recipe is easy to make and takes about 15 min of prep time and 15min of cooking at most. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Ingredients
- 2 lb tilapia fillet
- 3 large Lavash
- 1 large shallot
- ¼ cup capers
- 2 oz butter
- 4 oz dill
- 1 large lemon
Ingredients for Seasoning
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- salt (to taste)
- ½ tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp dried tarragon
Instructions
- Cut the tilapia fillet into 2 or 3 half's depending on how big your fillet is.
- Cut the lavash into 5in x 7in pieces.
- Cut the shallots into thin rings or pieces.
- Slice the butter into very thin slices.
- In a bowl add the fillet pieces, season with salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder and dried tarragon. Make sure all the pieces are well seasoned.
- Lay a piece of lavash. Put a piece of fillet, top it with butter, 1 tsp capers, dill, shallot rings and roll it.
- Place them in a none stick baking sheet and bake 15 minutes in a pre-heated 390F oven.
